BERRIAS WORLD
About
us
Every morning in our workshop, the process of creating bicycles begins with the same excitement as the first day.
Our team works closely, hand in hand, paying attention to even the smallest detail and with a high level of demand. Our carefully chosen team is already part of the family, along with José and David, who started this challenge 10 years ago. Without them, Berria would not be possible.
JOSÉ VITORIA
Global Product Manager
"José, the older brother, is a cycling enthusiast. He loves its history, philosophy, and values. As a child, he used to mark the days on the calendar, eagerly waiting for Sundays to watch a stage of the grand tour. He enjoyed spending time surrounded by professional cyclists, listening to their stories, and learning from their comments. But above all, he was obsessed with bicycle mechanics, understanding how each part worked in detail, because he wanted to create the best bicycle ever seen.
He often traveled to the library of the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) to immerse himself in books about cycling and bicycles, and then go down to the basement of his house, where his father kept bicycles and tools, to continue learning. He didn't stop until he started competing, wanting to experience the highest level of cycling to understand the real needs and demands of a perfect machine. "Only by experiencing it from the inside, you will be able to create it." His obsession has made him who he is today, a unique connoisseur of cycling history and the evolution of bicycle engineering and mechanics. He is also an avid collector with his own museum of 22 replicas of winning bicycles from grand tours, thousands of signed jerseys, photos, and many memories.
Berria is his masterpiece, the culmination of his lifelong preparation. It is the home from which he creates meticulously crafted bicycles of the highest level."

DAVID VITORIA
CEO de Berria
David, the younger brother, was a keen observer and a faithful follower of every step his father and brother took in the world of cycling. He grew up with a passion for cycling, wanting to pedal even before taking his first steps. He spent his days playing with bicycles and standing at the finish line of many Tours de France, with a clear idea in mind: he would be the next one to cross them. With effort, sacrifice, and perseverance, dreams do come true, and David reached the pinnacle of success, becoming a professional cyclist in the Tour de France. He raced for the Swiss national cycling team and several professional teams such as Phonak, Footon-Servetto, and BMC Racing Team, participating in various grand tours and winning stages in the Vuelta a España. It was an injury that separated David from the world of competition, but never from the world of cycling.
Drawing from his experience of living and feeling the bicycle at a professional level, pushing its limits and understanding the capabilities of a high-performance bike, David decided to create Berria, his own bicycle brand, with the aim of winning more grand tours and continuing to fulfill dreams.
