IMPROVED KINEMATICS

TUNING OF THE SHOCK ABSORBER

The 205X57,5MM ROCK SHOX DELUXE SELECT+ shock absorber  has been the result of careful suspension optimization work,  enhancing the strong points and minimizing the weak points  of the geometry and kinematics.

The TUNING configured for the CAYMAN shock absorber  is PROGRESSIVE-LINEAR.

The pneumatic part of the DEBON AIR+ shock absorber allows  to complete the TUNING adjustment on the negative and  positive chambers. It achieves the optimal balance between  sensitivity, performance damping and quick suspension return.

CAYMAN is an extremely balanced bike ready to tackle all kinds  of rides thanks to the perfect tuning between TUNING,  GEOMETRY, and KINEMATICS.

ALUMINIUM 3BS

The tubes are machined with 3 different thicknesses by means of mechanical tapering. This makes it possible to adapt with a greater thickness in the welding and high stress areas of the frame with the intermediate areas and those that allow for differentiated sections. The tubes made with this process are adapted to the stresses generated by the geometry and the interferences of the terrain during the use of the bicycle.

PPS / precision process casting

The Precision Casting Process is a technology based on high-precision casting of 6061 alloy to achieve resistant and complex structures in the "motor - battery - rear carriage anchorage" area, giving the bicycle a superior look and level of component integration.

HYDRO FORMING

Once the tubes are conified they are shaped by hydrostatic pressure from the inside (Hydroforming) achieving the desired shapes in the design and engineering phase, leaving the tube ready for the TIG welding phase.

T4 / heat treatment

Once the tubes are TIG inert gas welded, the frame is subjected to a heat treatment called T4, which consists of heating the frame for 6 hours at 500 degrees followed by rapid cooling to remove accumulated stresses. With this T4 heat treatment our 6061 aluminum increases its strength and stiffness to the benefit of the bike's performance.

POLISHED WELDS

CAYMAN's welds are polished with care and precision resulting in a highly manufactured aluminum frame with a finish as qualitative as that of a carbon frame. With this latest manufacturing process the CAYMAN frame is positioned among the most elegant and cleanest frames among E-MTBs.
