Introducing the new bravo
The evolution and revolution of hardtrail bikes
Einstein said that the more energy a body projects, the greater its curvature. Just like the frame of the new Bravo, which flexes to provide greater efficiency, stability and traction to the bike, exploiting the rider's abilities to the full.
Welcome to the future
Bravo is a new bike concept that combines the most important qualities of a rigid bike with the most important qualities of a double bike. It is the perfect balance between speed and stability and between agility and traction.
Lightness and power in unison
The Bravo creates a new standard of performance through an innovative micro suspension system involving both the controlled flex of a new state-of-the-art seatpost and the rear triangle stays via a pivot point integrated into the frame itself.
It meets the needs of all those riders who do not need all the absorption of a conventional full suspension bike. Those who value qualities such as lightness, agility and mechanical simplicity, as well as comfort, increased traction and optimal riding stability.
The Bravo frame is made of carbon. This makes it stiffer in the sections where it is needed and flexes in a controlled manner in the sections that are in most contact with the ground.
Bravo frames have an internal polystyrene expander. This is responsible for increasing the pressure exerted on the fibres allowing an optimal layering of the carbon. This system achieves a high quality frame with a much more compact and fatigue resistant structure.
The SOFTEX system works as a system between the flex of the unique Tibia seatpost and the flex of the laminated rear stays to convert flex and energy into speed, controlled by a FullBall pivot point integrated into the frame.
The performance has been adapted and optimised for different frame sizes, adapting the angles, the point of gravity and the measurements to the best performance and behaviour of the rider-bike combination.
The new Bravo is designed to be used in all circumstances and for XCO riders of different profiles and riding styles.
The seat post clamp on the new Bravo frame is located at the junction of the down tube and top tube. As it is integrated into the frame itself, it remains protected from dust and dirt, and offers an internal wedge system that increases friction with the seatpost and reduces the chances of over-torquing the clamp itself.
Triple Monocoque
The frame construction process involves the baking of three separate parts, the front triangle mould, the chainstay mould and the seat stay mould. This technique gives greater performance to the frame as a whole.
Usability and design come together to create Bravo:
Tibia seatpost designed so that the carbon fibres generate absorption of the imperfections of the terrain.
Specific design in the geometry and carbon laminate for each size, achieving the best performance regardless of the user's weight or height.
Double height chainstays for maximum stiffness in the area close to the bottom bracket and optimum absorption in the vicinity of the rear wheel axle.
Progressive and reactive geometry
The modern geometry of the new Bravo exalts the qualities of the SOFTEX suspension system, its super short chainstays of only 420mm and a steeper caster angle (67.5° in size M) are just the apex of the bike's deep development and focus on performance.
The new Bravo is designed for use in all conditions and for XCO riders of different profiles and riding styles. That's why it can handle tyres up to 2.40‘’ thanks to a generous wheel arch in the seat stays and rear chainstays.
Double your times
With the new Bravo you can reach your best version. More energy, more speed, more Berria than ever.
