FAQs

Warranty information

What does Berria's warranty cover?

Berria will respond for warranties concerning components manufactured by us, i.e. the brand's frame and Avanforce components (stems, handlebars, seatposts).

How long does the Berria warranty last?

From the moment of purchase, the customer has a legal warranty on his bicycle valid for the next three years after the purchase of the bicycle. In addition to this legal warranty, from Berria we offer the possibility at no cost to extend these three years to eight years.

How to activate the Berria warranty extension?

This extension can be done in two ways, depending on whether or not the store has already activated the warranty extension as the first purchaser when the bike is delivered to you, and whether or not they have previously registered the bike.

If the store has already activated the warranty extension for you as the first purchaser, you will have to register the bike beforehand.

If the store has not activated the warranty and the new owner does not activate it during the first 30 days from the date of invoice, the extended warranty will not be valid and can only count on the legal warranty of 3 years.

How can I activate the warranty extension in the first 30 days from the invoice date if the store has not registered it for me?

If the store did not register the warranty, the customer can register and extend the warranty for up to eight years (without the need for any management by the store) through the following link https://customerservice.berriabikes.com/login.php

Does Berria's warranty cover second-hand buyers?

Berria's warranty covers second-hand buyers for the first three years from the date of invoice with the legal warranty. The warranty extension to eight years only covers the original owner who has properly registered.

What should I do if I have a problem with my bike and need a warranty resolution?

If you have any kind of incident with the bike, you as a customer should go to an official Berria dealer. At the store (preferably the one where you bought the bike), they will provide you with the necessary assistance to try to solve any kind of problem. If it is not possible to solve the problem from the store, the store will transmit all the information of the incident to our technical service so that, from Berria's own warranty department, we can analyze the case in depth to try to give you the appropriate solution.

Why should I register my bicycle?

Registration will help us provide you with better service. We can keep you up to date on important information that applies to your bike or riding style. Warranty inquiries will also be more efficient. Registering your bike can also be useful in case of theft.

Where is the serial number of my bicycle?

If you turn your bike upside down, with the wheels facing up, you will see a serial number on the bottom of the bike, on a white label with black lettering. Serial numbers usually begin with a year of manufacture and the letter OF, for example “24OF........”.

What can I do if the crack in my frame is not covered by warranty?

If you have a problem with your frame or an Avanforce component, the BERRIA LOYALTY PROGRAM allows you to enjoy a discount when you need to replace a frame or other Avanforce component that has suffered damage that is not covered under warranty, including the customization of the frame in the price.

Commercial info

How can I start distributing BERRIA products and become a distributor?

You access our website, in the contact area https://berriabikes.com/pages/contact, fill in all the fields and in the comments area briefly describe your request. With all this information the commercial delegate of the area will be able to contact you.

Can I buy a bicycle directly from BERRIA?

No, it is not possible. We sell all our products only through our network of authorized BERRIA dealers.

Can I only buy a Berria frame?

Due to the high degree of integration of our bikes regardless of the model, we always sell complete frames in “frame set” format.

How can I buy spare parts for my Berria bike?

Just as it is necessary to buy a Berria bicycle through an authorized dealer, the same applies to spare parts.

If you need any spare part (seat stays, Avanforce stem, steering spacers), just go to your nearest Berria store (not necessarily the store where you bought your bike).

What if my dealer doesn't have the bike I want?

All Berria dealers can place a new order, delivery times are two weeks for collection models if we do not have them in stock immediately and 4-6 weeks for custom models.

How do I find the nearest dealer?

Your local bike store is your local resource for all things cycling. Berria products are only available at the best stores. Use our store locator to find the dealer closest to you: https://berriabikes.com/pages/tiendas

Do you accept bike exchanges?

Each store administers its own trade-in policies as it sees fit.

If you have a bike to trade in, we recommend checking with your local Berria dealer to see what options are available to you.

Can Berria sponsor me, my team or my event?

Being a sponsored athlete is a privilege and a responsibility. It is not for everyone and, unfortunately, sponsorship cannot be offered to everyone who requests it.

Just contact your local dealer if you are serious about promoting and being a Berria ambassador.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

What size bike do I need?

Choose the model of bike you are interested in on our website and in the geometry tables we give an orientation of the size according to the height of the rider.

To meticulously choose the size of the bike you need to take into account several factors such as the type of bike and the use you are going to give it, the combination between your height and the height of the crotch is what will determine what size of bike.

For this reason we recommend that you visit your trusted BERRIA dealer to finish configuring and fitting you to the most suitable bike for you.

Can I buy a custom bike?

In BERRIA we offer you the possibility in just 4-6 weeks to choose with the configurator on our website according to the model of bike ergonomics, paint (primary color, secondary color, decals and finish) as well as components such as wheels, tires, seat post, saddle, handlebars and fork.

Do you have touch up paint?

We can sell you the paint can of your bike so that you can touch up the scratches on your Berria. Tell us the serial number of the bike and the color you need so we can prepare the exact sample of your color.

You should know that we will send you the can with the original paint that in our painting process will need a coat of varnish on top of the color; for this reason we recommend the use of the paint sample in a can only for small touch-ups.

Do you have a manual for my bike or accessory?

Yes, we have manuals in digital format.

Write to us at the following link https://berriabikes.com/pages/contact, fill in all the fields and tell us in comments the model and year of your bike.

Can I order a bike with integrated handlebars?

Yes, for almost all models.

Select the bike you are interested in and among the components that you can customize, see if there is also the integrated handlebars by selecting the sizes you want.

What is the difference between a normal BERRIA bike and a BR model?

Between the Bravo, Mako and Belador models, depending on the level of the bike, a normal model is used and the lighter BR model is used for the higher end models.

The difference between a “normal” frame with high quality manufacturing and a BR frame manufactured with the best carbon currently available is limited to a lighter weight.

The torsional values, the obstruction and the frame design are identical in both versions.

What is the maximum tire size of BERRIA bikes?

On Belador 5G 30mm, Belador 6G 32mm, Allroad and Mistral 44mm, Allroad and Mistral HPR 42mm, Bravo 5G 2.35“, Bravo 6G and Mako 4G 2.40”, Cayman and Stratos 2.60”.

These sizes are homologated with the wheel and tire options that we mount from the factory. Consider that there should always be a minimum of 4mm between the tire and the chainstay, mounting non-approved wheels with different rim widths or that flex in curves can cause friction between tire and chainstay. Some manufacturers indicate measures in the tire that do not correspond to its real width, the measures of approved maximum width always refer to the real width of the tire.

What is the maximum weight allowed on BERRIA bikes?

The Belador, Allroad, Allroad HPR, Bravo and Mako muscle models have a maximum allowed weight between rider and bike of 120kg.

The Mistral, Mistral HPR, Cayman and Stratos electric models have a maximum weight limit between rider and bike of 150kg.

How can I choose the right size?

On the web you have a table of geometries by model, you can also see a table with an orientation of size by height of the rider. From Berria we recommend the size according to your anthropometric measurements, to have a more accurate orientation we always recommend to consult with one of our official Berria distributors.

Can I de-limit a Polini engine and will I lose my warranty?

Polini motors offer the possibility of being unlocked without losing the manufacturer's warranty. Polini itself sells the chips to attach to the bike to be unlocked.

The European regulations for pedal-assisted bicycles of the EPAC category, as is the case of all the electric bikes of the BERRIA range, limit the maximum speed to 25 km/h.

The practice of unlocking the speed limit is only allowed on circuits or on private property, but not on public roads.

How often do I have to grease a Polini engine?

Polini recommends to grease the engine with its original Polini grease with 1,5gr every 5000km.

The grease is introduced into the motor by loosening the silver Allen screw located on the transmission side.
