THE TRAKA 2026 | A week that reminded us why we love this sport

There are events that go far beyond just a race.

The Traka is one of them.

We return from Girona with a feeling that’s hard to put into words. Fatigue, excitement, inspiration. Intense days experiencing gravel from the inside alongside Squadra BERRIA, sharing a house, routes, coffee, the nerves before the start, and endless conversations after every race.

Honestly, the highlight of this week wasn’t just the results or the competition. It was the energy you could feel in every corner of Girona. Seeing thousands of people driven by the same passion. Riders arriving from all over Europe. So many young people discovering cycling in a different way. Freer. More human. More connected to the experience.

And that is where we truly understand where this sport is heading.

  • Over these last few days, we’ve witnessed something truly powerful: gravel is no longer just a discipline. It’s a culture. A way to travel, to connect, and to live the bike. And as a brand, being able to be so close to that community holds immense value.

  • At Berria, we deeply believe in that. In authentic experiences. In face-to-face conversations. In sharing kilometers with people. In living cycling from the inside, rather than just communicating it from the outside.

  • The Traka leaves us with so many images, so much emotion, and, above all, a huge drive to keep building around this incredible community.

Thank you, Girona.
Thanks to all the riders, partners, organizers, and everyone who shared this week with us.

See you at the next race.
